Tourism Sustainability Policy

Casa del Presidente is committed to carrying out a sustainable management throughout its operation and to reduce or elimimate any impact we may cause on the ecosystem where we operate; also, to implement responsible practices that guarantee the sustainability of the property and its surroundings.

In this sense, Casa del Presidente has developed a Sustainability Policy to be implemented in all areas of the house, with an action plan, goals, and indicators. For this reason, the main task is to encourage our staff to comply with the policy and thus increase their knowledge about sustainable tourism and implement environmentally friendly processes.

One of our main objectives is to preserve and promote the culture of the host communities where we operate, to protect the cultural heritage of the municipality of Barichara. For this, we will carry out sustainable management and take over commitments to continuous improvement in all areas: social, economic, environmental, as well as in customer satisfaction.

Our main allies are our clients, collaborators, suppliers, and nearby communities with whom we will carry out projects that promote conservation with high sustainability standards, to then generate less impact, and make an appropriate use of resources.

This sustainable tourism policy will be updated whenever circumstances demand it, adapting and publishing new objectives in both cases.
